Latest reviews of Birds of Europe Guide app for iPhone and iPad

Very User-friendly and a Good Supplement
I was looking for a good field guide app to introduce me to European birds. Im a U.S. birder and the format reminds me of iBird and Peterson field guides. This is a very easy to use app where you can look up birds by common name and family in the main menu or scroll through the bottom images on the screen. The information provided is a good start on getting to know the individual species and their calls and songs, although I would have liked more information, such as a description of the sounds, conservation status and additional photographs instead of just color plates/illustrations. However, I do like the plates of the birds in flight as that is something I havent seen in fields guides for North American birds. Overall, this is a good app for the price m, information and amount of bird species featured.
Highly Recommend
I am a moderately experience US birder. I have not found it easy to relearn birding in the E.U,specifically Greece. Besides not knowing that language they have slang names for birds or the Latin name. I love this app. It is laid out the way that most birders instinctively identify. It walks you through size, area, habitat, color, beak size, etc. so exited! Good job.
